I persisted with Bellabox for a lot longer than I should have. Month after month I was disappointed with the offerings it provided me, but after I finally remembered my password to log in and cancel my subscription, my life was void of a monthly present to myself.
Enter Goodness Me Box, something that I’d been eyeing off for quite some time but never got around to signing up to. The same concept to Bellabox (or all subscription box services, really), GMB delivers delicious health foods and goodies to your door each month.
GMB is $25 a month if you pay monthly, so $7 more than Bellabox now they’ve started charging for postage on top of the box (what?!). You do, however, get mostly full-sized products, meaning I will actually get a decent sized sample of the products that I’m trying out.
I received an email telling me my box had been shipped, and almost a week later it was in my hot little hands (it was following the Easter period, I’d really like it to be slightly faster next time and am hoping it is!).
I was firstly so excited by the packaging. Once I removed the AusPost box, I was greeted with a plain brown box tied with string, with a little GMB card attached. It was so simple but looked so beautiful, and the aesthetic really ties in with what the service provides.
Despite having already gotten a fair idea of what my box was going to contain (I had to unfollow them on Instagram after that, too many spoilers!), I was still so excited to see all of my goodies.
I got quite a few full-sized products: a jar of Pureharvest rice malt syrup (perfect timing as I’m almost out!), a Well Naturally sugar free chocolate bar (so creamy and delish), an At One super food bar, a packet of Slendier pasta, a Burt’s Bees tinted lip balm and a Food for Health muesli bowl. I also received two samples of Madame Flavour loose-leaf tea and a little jar of ABC butter.
I was so happy with what I received in my box! Despite a slight mishap with the Slendier pasta (0/10, smells like fish so badly that I couldn’t actually consume the product) I have been happy with and enjoyed every single sample I received, something that is so refreshing! I’m already (im)patiently waiting for next month’s box!
If you’re interested in health foods and health goodies, I would definitely recommend GMB if you want to try out things before you make the purchase. Even just buying a once off box would be a great way to try out some products!
Have you tried Goodness Me Box? What did you think?
