Despite the calendar (and my heart!) telling me that it’s autumn, Melbourne’s weather just doesn’t agree. I had a close friend’s 21st yesterday, and while I do love the cold, today’s sunshine was perfect weather for her outdoor party.
I’d had work all morning so decided to just adjust my makeup for the afternoon’s festivities. I’ve fallen deeply in love with my Lorac Pro palette, so thought I’d show you all the bronzed glowy look I created with my palette and my favourite highlighter and bronzer.
That morning I had applied my regular everyday makeup, but by the time I’d finished my five-hour shift some had worn off. I touched up my foundation then decided I wanted to give myself a bit more colour, so added some more of my Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer and L’oréal Sunset Glow blush to my cheeks.
I then wanted to amp up my eyes as I’d not worn any shadow or liner that morning. I applied shadows from the Lorac Pro palette in nude, light bronze and champagne to my lids, as well as some taupe in the crease for a bit of definition. I was super happy with how this looked and didn’t feel the need to add any eyeliner.
I finished off by adding extra glow with my Hourglass Ambient Lighting powder in the shade incandescent light. I am in love with how this makeup looked, and how adding that extra bit of bronze and glow made me look so much healthier! Definitely something to remember on days when I’m feeling a bit under the weather (i.e. this entire past week for me…).
